Our Charitable Activities
At EFIB we engage a number of charitable activities.
Ecoles Franco-Indiennes
EFIB supports the association of the French-Indian schools, an association founded and chaired by Mr. Pierre Péan, which provides schooling in the Northern suburbs of the city to children and adolescents from underprivileged backgrounds. During Christmas, a sale was organized featuring decorative objects manufactured by the students of the Pre-Primary and Primary. Following the same principle, students of the Secondary will be offering a books sale during the end of year school celebratory party.
ACORN
Do you know ACORN and are you aware of how to sort your home waste? If so, then you simplify the work of many professional manual garbage collectors in Mumbai. The Non Profit Organization ACORN has as primary objective of educating Mumbai citizens in waste management and to improve the working experience of the professional garbage collectors. The Secondary students and those of the CE2/CM1/CM2 were invited to the Dharavi slum, the main action area of the association, and attended a "Beat Boxing" concert (rap type of music).
